On the downside, there’s not a lot of ping in this ride, so it may not be a good choice for your primary ride cymbal. Like all cymbals that feature both crash and ride capability, it’s going to give you a little of both but it’s not going to be an exceptional ride or crash. However, it can be a great way of adding a bit of extra flavour every now and then to your beat. The Zildjian ZBT Crash Ride Cymbal is nice for jazz and fusion, but it can also work pretty well for some rock and even some funk and other types of music.
