This unique ride cymbal features the incredibly dryness of a top crash cymbal while still featuring a great cutting stick articulation. The Zildjian K Custom Special Dry Ride Cymbal, like all of the Zildjian K Custom line, is created using several different modern techniques. A very radical, exclusive hammering technique is used to hammer the cymbals into shape. These medium-thin cymbals are then coated in a traditional coating and lathed using classic lathing techniques. All in all, this adds to the dryness and complexity of these ride cymbals, making them perfect for jazz. The price is fairly standard, too, so you won’t spend a lot of money on them.
