This ride cymbal captures the great vintage sound of Armand Zildjian, one of the top cymbal makers in the world. He spent his years working with the Zildjian company and personally selected cymbals for some of the top drummers in the world, including Buddy Rich and Elvin Jones. The Zildjian Armand Beautiful Baby ride cymbal is a recreation of the exact cymbal that Armand used in his personal drum kit. The Zildjian Armand Beautiful Baby with 3 Rivets made its debut in 2004, although, of course, Armand had created it years before for his own personal use. The Beautiful Baby became the flagship cymbal in the Armand S series that was launched three years later. Done in a traditional finish and featuring three rivets clustered together along with a laser engraved logo, this ride cymbal is incredibly versatile and can be used for pop, punk, rock, alternative, hip hop, jazz, and country, just to name a few genres.
