The Zildjian A Rock Ride Cymbal is one of Zildjian’s most popular. This rock ride features a really great, cutting bell and a nice, strong beat. The decay is quite long, which is actually something some drummers do not like about this cymbal. However, it’s still highly recommended if you enjoy playing loud rock. If you don’t, then you may want to look for a different ride. The Rock Ride is, as one would expect from the name, certainly focused around rock. It’s great at cutting through the guitars and being heard above all the other sounds, but it’s not great for soft jazz and the like. Its very distinct bell certainly cuts through it all, but as far as the ride goes, it is a bit washy and can get out of control. It can end up being very overpowering if you’re not careful.What We Found
