This combination makes use of 400 years of cymbal making processes that have been perfected over the decades and the most modern of technology. Using these mixed techniques Sabian has created a Light Ride Cymbal that has a low-pitched, defined stick sound and a nice, wide spread of tones. Many have described these ride cymbals as the best of the best because of their shimmering tones and cutting, clear sound. They’re nice for anyone playing soft music or who is in need of a light to medium ride cymbal. They’re not so great for metal, rock, or any hard-hitting, heavy music.What we Found
The limited-edition series of cymbals is one of Sabian’s premium lines, and it is created using high-density hand-hammering processes. This, along with the many different modern processes used, creates a very rich, complex cymbal capable of many different tones. As with all of Sabian’s cymbals, the Sabian Vault Artisan Light Ride is made using a special B20 bronze alloy that has its history in a formula that has been used for centuries. The cymbal comes in a 20 or 22 inch diameter.
