Paiste RUDE Power Ride Cymbal
While Paiste has made a number of different cymbals, few are rated as highly as the Paiste RUDE Power Ride Cymbal. It’s got a lot more metal in its ping and a good deal less wash than many of their other ride cymbals. It also features a loud, piercing bell that will cut through any other noise. The RUDE Power Ride is much more powerful than many expected, providing an incredibly loud sound. The cymbals are also quite durable, allowing you to really bang on them for hours at a time without developing any cracks or dents. One of the downsides that some people have pointed out is that this ride cymbal isn’t very crashable, so if you’re looking for a ride/crash combination, this might not be the ride for you. Others, though, say that it’s worth every cent you pay for it and that it’s quite amazing. It really depends on what you’re looking for in a ride cymbal. If you want power and volume, this is for you. If you want a soft ride for jazz and such, you’ll want something different.
